- Senior Operations Manager leading the delivery of CNS security services across Nova Scotia. Responsible for operational performance, client satisfaction, and compliance with service standards.
Responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of CNS security and security-related services across the province
- Providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure contract compliance, service excellence, client satisfaction, and operational performance
- Working closely with District Managers, the Atlantic Operations Centre, and Head Office departments to achieve CNS operational objectives
- Managing the effective delivery of security services for CNS
- Providing strong, decisive, and respectful leadership to the operations team
- Overseeing that performance management targets are established and monitored for all direct reports
- Conducting annual site visits to ensure contract compliance and client satisfaction
- Investigating and resolving complaints from employees, clients, and the public pertaining to applicable sites
- Ensuring compliance with personnel policy and advising managers & supervisors on personnel problems
- Conducting performance reviews for District managers and regional managers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of related professional training and experience
- Secret security clearance
- RCMP Enhanced Reliability security clearance
- Valid Nova Scotia driver's license
- Superior problem-solving skills, able to analyze and predict future shortcomings before they manifest into larger issues
- Superior client service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and able to effectively prioritize multiple and shifting requirements
- Strong leadership/personnel skills and a business sense
- Strong written and verbal communications skills

- Five (5) years previous supervisory experience in a busy security business environment
- Excellent computer skills and aptitude in Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point as well as BambooHR and an On Watch software.
