About the role
- Operations Manager leading the oversight of Coinbase Canada's operations, aligning with market priorities and global strategy. Collaborate with the COO and critical business units to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Support the COO in the effective oversight and management of operational functions both within CBCA and outsourced to intragroup or third party entities.
- Implementing operational policies and procedures, overseeing risk management processes, SLA frameworks, oversight of services.
- Support in the establishment, maintenance and ownership of key supervision activities across critical business areas of Coinbase Canada.
- Overseeing the establishment and maintenance of robust operational resilience frameworks within CBCA.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including banks and regulators, to effectively communicate operational and risk strategies.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Canadian financial services / management or strategy consulting / operations strategy
- Experience within a CIRO regulated investment dealer with focus of trade supervision across crypto, equities or derivatives.
- High attention to detail: ability to produce content that could be shared externally with light review
- The ability to support with developing new processes and improving existing processes to create efficiencies
- Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of business functions, with an emphasis on senior management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment.
