About the role
- German Payroll Specialist managing the full German payroll process at CloudPay. Ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll execution with deep understanding of German labour laws.
Responsibilities
- Deliver payroll accurately and provide timely payment of employee salaries on time in line with client service level agreements and expectations
- Establish, update, and maintain payroll records and analyze payroll-related information to ensure accurate payroll in line with the legislation of Germany
- Prepare and submit statutory declarations for authorities
- Complete controls and cross-checking on payroll results
- Reconcile pre-processing reports to ensure the accuracy of information before processing payroll
- Research discrepancies in payroll information and/or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing
- Assist in the validation of payroll requirements to ensure that sufficient information is provided by the client to enable set-up and continued accuracy of payroll processing, ensuring smooth and compliant payroll operations
- Maintain payroll information, files, and records to provide up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance
- Prepare regular and ad hoc payroll reports, handle special client requests
- Partner with Implementation Consultants to ensure successful knowledge transfers are completed between Project Delivery and Operations
Requirements
- Experience in German payroll processing
- Fluency in German and English language skills
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word
