About the role
- Senior Data Engineer specializing in Governance and Legacy System Decommissioning at CI&T. Ensuring safe transition to our Data Lakehouse while working with stakeholders in delivering performance improvements.
Responsibilities
- Analisar fluxos de ETL/ELT e dependências em sistemas legados
- Mapear e avaliar jobs e agendamentos (IWS, Control-M) para desativação
- Conduzir análises de paridade entre ambientes legados e o Data Lakehouse
- Documentar processos, impactos e ganhos (custo e performance)
- Coordenar a desativação segura de processos e fontes de dados
- Reportar evolução e resultados do descomissionamento
Requirements
- Experiência sólida com Power Center (ferramenta ETL - não será considerado ferramentas similares)
- Experiência com Azure
- Domínio de PL/SQL e bancos relacionais (Oracle)
- Experiência com orquestradores (IWS, Control-M)
- Conhecimento em Spark/PySpark e Data Lake
- Entendimento de camadas Bronze, Silver e Gold
- Modelagem de dados (Star Schema, OBT)
- Experiência com Databricks
