Responsibilities
- supports Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications
- performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments
- performs computations
- typically works on semi-routine assignments
- may contact physicians for prescriptions clarification and may enter prescription orders into the system
- supports Pharmacists and Patients by ensuring adherence to Specialty Rx specific operational processes and programs developed to optimize health outcomes
Requirements
- Must have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
