About the role
- Senior Analyst optimizing SQL-based applications and integrations at CBIZ. Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical analyst for SQL-based applications, data integrations and data centric troubleshooting
- Design, analyze, and optimize SQL data models, stored procedures, and ETL processes
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages for data integration and transformation
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and complex SQL queries to support business needs
- Debug, enhance, and optimize existing SQL code written by internal teams or vendors
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze issues, and deliver enhancements
- Support finance-related applications with understanding of GL, AP, AR, and related processes
- Perform data maintenance, identify root causes of data issues, and coordinate fixes with the business and vendors
- Coordinate with vendors on application upgrades and patches, scheduling and execution, user acceptance testing (UAT), communication and release planning
- Lead and execute change management activities using ITSM methodologies
- Manage user access and security for vendor systems
- Respond to SOX audit requests and support quarterly/monthly audit submissions
- Provide ongoing production support for SQL, integrations, and vendor applications
Requirements
- College Degree or equivalent
- 6 years related experience
- Expert technical knowledge
- Knowledge of industry regulations
