About the role
- Import Analyst responsible for managing all import processes and documentation. Supporting compliance with legislation and ensuring operational efficiency at Casa do Fitness.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all import processes from origin to destination and provide support to the customs broker for imported goods, including donated items (whether definitive or not), with or without foreign-exchange coverage, acting in accordance with applicable legislation;
- Receive and verify customs broker documentation, report any missing or discrepant documents, and liaise with the broker until resolved;
- Check and validate tariff classification and customs requirements for the import of each product;
- Determine the best transport mode for import processes according to required and approved timelines and costs, and organize the procedures necessary for the operation;
- Plan and monitor the operational import workflow, ensuring compliance with agreed costs and deadlines, and keep information updated in the system;
- Negotiate shipping, storage, service fees, insurance, and other related charges;
- Work closely with other areas involved in imports, including Finance, submitting payment requests within deadlines (e.g., invoices, cash disbursements, and related expenses);
- Act proactively, seeking improvements to the existing operation.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, International Relations, or related fields;
- Advanced English (written and spoken);
- Experience with Siscomex and customs tariff classification;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Strong knowledge of Office 365 tools;
- Experience with ERP systems;
- Proactive and dynamic attitude.
