About the role

Test Manager overseeing test strategy and QA processes for a EU customs digitalization project. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving infrastructure testing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Defining and managing the overall test strategy for infrastructure and platform components within the ecosystem.
Coordinating test planning, execution, and reporting across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Leading the development and implementation of automated testing frameworks for infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and security controls.
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and security teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
Managing performance, integration, and regression testing for infrastructure services and automation workflows.
Ensuring testing activities are aligned with DevSecOps principles, including continuous testing and shift-left practices.
Overseeing defect management, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
Maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Driving continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and team capabilities.
Supporting audits and compliance efforts by ensuring traceability and documentation of test results.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
Proven experience as a Test Manager or Senior QA Lead in IT infrastructure or DevOps environments.
Strong understanding of infrastructure components (e.g., servers, networks, virtualization, containers, cloud platforms).
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks relevant to infrastructure and CI/CD (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Selenium, Robot Framework).
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, including security testing and compliance validation.
Excellent knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, SAFe, ITIL, or cloud certifications) are an advantage.
Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
