Product Manager overseeing operating room solutions for the healthcare sector in Europe. Focused on optimizing product profitability and strategic collaborations across teams in the organization.
Responsibilities
Manage product categories to optimise profits and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives.
Develop market assessments and launch plans for new products to drive sales and optimise profits.
Negotiate with current suppliers to drive better costing and increase capacity to support division growth, with the support of the sourcing department.
Work continuously on portfolio rationalisation to streamline our offer and increase supply efficiency.
Work as a transversal team leader during the product development phase, with respect to product launch/change procedures.
Benchmark competition (product portfolio, pricing, market share etc.) and support the sales team in formulating customer offers.
Develop training programmes and marketing collaterals to support the sales team.
Work with account managers to understand customers' needs and the competitive landscape.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, marketing or healthcare
2-3 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales and/or product management, preferably in the healthcare industry
Experience negotiating with outside vendors and internal resources
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Fluency in any other European language is advantageous
Willingness to travel occasionally to other Medline locations in Europe
