About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the smooth execution of accounting processes across GL, AP, AR and Fixed Assets.
- Participate in monthly and annual closing activities by preparing journal entries, reconciliations and relevant reports.
- Perform key accounting controls and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist with tax-related processes and submissions in coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain and update accounting systems and reporting platforms as needed.
- Contribute to compliance with internal policies, accounting standards and audit requirements.
- Provide support on ad hoc requests, reports and finance-related projects.
- Collaborate with other departments and external advisors to gather and provide necessary information.
- Ad hoc duties within the Finance function, as and when required.
Requirements
- BA in Accounting or similar field.
- At least 3+ years of proven experience in accounting.
- Background in either multinationals or mid-size companies will be preferred.
- Computer literacy with Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Good working knowledge of the English language.
- SAP experience will be a plus.
- High Volume Processing & fast pace background required.
- Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently.
- Be proficient in data entry, working to multiple tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communicator, both verbally and written, able to clearly explain policies and issues to internal and external customers.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority.
