Responsibilities
Define and maintain the Availability Management process aligned with ITIL standards.
Monitor service availability against SLAs and identify improvement opportunities.
Conduct risk assessments for critical services and propose mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with Problem and Incident Management to reduce downtime and improve resilience.
Develop and maintain the Technology Capacity Plan and Forecast.
Monitor resource utilization and predict future capacity requirements.
Ensure IT resources (compute, storage, network) are optimized for performance and cost.
Produce regular reports on availability and capacity metrics for stakeholders.
Present improvement proposals and ensure compliance with governance standards.
Maintain documentation such as Capacity Management Summary and Handover Reports.
Requirements
Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Availability, Capacity, Service Continuity).
Experience with monitoring tools and performance analytics.
Ability to forecast demand and plan infrastructure growth.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
