About the role
- Professional Services Consultant supporting financial reporting for enterprise clients in a fast-growing SaaS company. Collaborating with technical teams to design scalable, compliant models for sales performance management.
Responsibilities
- Configure, test, and validate financial reporting outputs across customer implementations.
- Translate accounting and compliance requirements into accurate, maintainable reporting logic
- Support senior consultants and architects in designing scalable, audit-ready models.
- Perform data analysis and reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Partner with customer Finance and Accounting teams to confirm outputs align with compliance expectations.
- Document reporting logic, testing results, and key assumptions for audit support and internal QA.
- Contribute to internal best practices, templates, and enablement documentation.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in financial modeling, reporting, or compensation accounting, ideally within a SaaS, finance, or systems environment.
- CPA and strong understanding of core accounting principles with working knowledge of ASC 606 and its application to sales compensation or revenue recognition.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis, validation, and report building.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams.
