About the role
- Junior UX Designer at Calero working with product managers and engineers on next-generation features. Focusing on AI and Automation workflows while ensuring user needs are championed.
Responsibilities
- As a member of the product team, you’ll work with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop next-generation product features, with a focus on AI and Automation workflows.
- Create and rapidly iterate wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes using Figma
- Collaborate with product stakeholders, business, and technology teams to solve design challenges
- Oversee design systems, components and variants
- Practice research on UX best practices for applications
- Be involved in contextual user interviews and usability tests to validate design decisions
- Support the QA process by ensuring design standards will be met in implementation
- Work with Calero’s global design system and central design groups
- Develop an understanding of business needs in areas such as Finance, Telecoms, Mobility, SaaS and Payment Management
- This role is required to travel to the Tunbridge Wells office.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in UX design, ideally with B2B products and AI features
- Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive, elegant designs
- Excellent communication skills – comfortable presenting to and collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience in data visualisation
- Expertise around controlling and publishing design system components
- Proficiency in Figma (essential)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and design sprints
- Independent level of problem-solving ability. Resolves semi-complex problems that require independent judgment.
