About the role
- Retail Manager overseeing all aspects of store operations and strategy for BROKE+SCHÖN fashion retail. Leading teams to create a unique shopping experience in multiple locations across Berlin.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the operational and strategic development of all locations
- Ensuring a consistent brand experience across all stores
- Continuous optimization of the store experience and customer journey
- Coaching, mentoring and development of managers and their teams
- Analysis of relevant KPIs and deriving and implementing concrete measures to achieve targets
- Supporting efficient workforce planning and ensuring optimal store staffing
- Participating in the selection of new talent as well as the development and delivery of training
- Analyzing and continuously improving existing processes and structures
- Coordinating with Buying, HR and Marketing to optimally implement retail initiatives
- Regular store visits and travel – on-site presence for quality assurance, team management and the implementation of standards
Requirements
- University degree in business or retail, or a comparable vocational qualification (e.g., Handelsfachwirt)
- Several years of relevant retail experience with managerial responsibility, ideally across multiple stores
- Experience managing KPIs, budgets and financial metrics
- Strong understanding of retail processes and merchandise/inventory management
- Pronounced hands-on mentality and strong strategic thinking
- High self-motivation, resilience and flexibility
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Excellent German and good English skills
- Confident use of common office tools and a good technical understanding
