About the role
- Finance Analyst supporting financial planning and data analysis for Bmg Bank. Capturing and organizing data from various sources for strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Capture, organize and process large volumes of data originating from different databases and internal systems.
- Use SQL and Databricks for data manipulation, cleaning, transformation and creation of automated queries/processes.
- Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and documentation.
- Prepare consolidated datasets for use by the Financial Planning team in analyses, projections and monitoring models.
- Update and enhance reports and dashboards in Power BI, ensuring financial KPIs accurately reflect business performance.
- Assist in identifying inconsistencies, gaps and opportunities for improvement in data flows.
- Contribute to the standardization and evolution of financial data governance and management processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Data Science or related fields.
- Working knowledge of SQL for queries, joins, table creation and database manipulation.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Power BI for updating and maintaining dashboards.
- Analytical reasoning, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work with multiple data sources and concurrent deadlines.
