About the role

Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with key stakeholders across BILH hospital sites to understand current workflows and future-state requirements
- Document and analyze existing processes from disparate legacy systems
- Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and consolidation as BILH transitions to a single system
- Collaborate with technical teams and vendor consultants to configure the research administration suite to meet institutional requirements across the BILH network
- Participate in system design sessions to ensure workflows align with academic medical center operations and regulatory requirements
- Review and validate system configurations, integrations with existing systems (ERP, HR, finance, e.g. Workday, Epic, iLabs, etc.), and data migration strategies from multiple legacy platforms
- Support development of custom reports, dashboards, and analytics capabilities
- Map and document current and future-state business processes
- Ensure processes support compliance with federal regulations (NIH, NSF, FDA, OMB Uniform Guidance, etc.) and institutional policies
- Recommend process improvements that leverage system capabilities while maintaining regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years of business analysis experience
- Experience with enterprise software implementations or large-scale system projects
- Proven ability to gather requirements, document processes, and translate business needs into technical specifications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency with process mapping tools and MS Office suite
