Responsibilities
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand and analyze customer operations
- Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for digital transformation in Discrete manufacturing technology environments
- Design and deliver compelling, outcome-driven solutions that align with customers’ goals and KPIs
- Build trust and long term partnerships
- Collaborate with Solution Consultants and Technical Teams to execute Proofs of Concept (POCs), and network audits
- Ensure seamless solution implementation
- Provide Thought Leadership and vertical presentations as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Create tailored proposals and financial justifications for discrete manufacturing technology specific solutions
- Train and empower customer teams to adopt tools and methodologies for continuous improvement
Requirements
- A solid background in Discrete Manufacturing vertical technology systems
- 7 or more years of experience in the Discrete manufacturing sector
- Ability to fluently navigate discussions across Telecom, IT/OT/WAN, and digital manufacturing domains
- Experience with M2M, Industry 4.0 technologies (hardware, software, connectivity)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and EAM
- Understanding of telecommunication schemes, communication protocols, and automation systems
- Proven experience applying technology design principles to discrete manufacturing systems
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
