Project Manager overseeing Bedford Consulting's exciting projects with Professional Services teams in various regions remotely in Germany. Leading multiple complex projects while ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Bedford's Professional Services teams to successfully manage projects.
Responsible for managing and delivering projects using the agile "Anaplan Way" methodology.
Define project scope and objectives, engaging all relevant stakeholders.
Develop a project plan to manage each project in compliance with Bedford's governance criteria and commercial parameters.
Lead internal resources/teams as well as all partners and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Manage changes to project scope.
Identify, assess, and control project risks and issues.
Measure and report project performance (RAG) using appropriate methods and tools.
Maintain regular communication with management and escalate issues as required.
Responsible for the ongoing financial control of the project.
Formally hand over products and/or solutions to the Bedford Care team and Managed Services for regular support.
Actively lead and motivate the Professional Services team across all project phases.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years proven experience in technical project management, ideally in an IT professional services or managed services environment.
Experience in IT consulting and solid knowledge of managing software development lifecycle projects.
Knowledge of Anaplan and related products and services is an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and internal stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask, with the capability to prioritize demanding tasks effectively and maintain productivity.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is essential.
Practical experience with software development tools such as Jira is also advantageous.
Certification in Agile PM, Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or similar is required.
University degree, equivalent qualification, or substantial practical experience in the relevant field.
Ability to manage multiple large and/or complex projects concurrently.
Excellent presentation skills with demonstrated confidence presenting to groups and senior stakeholders.
Ability to facilitate meetings and lead workshops with diverse audiences, capture information effectively, and steer discussions toward objectives.
Ability to understand relevant industry technologies in depth and develop and communicate effective solutions considering commercial constraints.
Experience working with CRM, ERP, and ITSM platforms to support the full project lifecycle from sales to service, and practical knowledge of ITIL.
Team-oriented, self-motivated, able to inspire others and resolve conflicts effectively.
Personable demeanor with the ability to build key relationships and trust with colleagues, partners, and clients through a flexible approach.
Confident English communication to work in an international team.
