About the role
- Senior Business Analyst facilitating Encompass Mortgage LOS transition and supporting technology solutions. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective systems for home lending processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to elicit, document, and communicate clear business and user requirements.
- Lead teams in shaping technical approaches aligned to organizational goals.
- Translate specifications into vendor requirements and coordinate delivery.
- Develop test plans, support user testing, and resolve issues.
- Manage installation of patches, releases, and enhancements across environments.
- Advise business units to uncover opportunities and align technology.
- Partner with units to document and prioritize objectives .
- Identify people, process, and system impacts.
- Assist technical teams with complex production support.
- Maintain manuals, procedures, and operational documentation.
- Maintain application lifecycle roadmaps and disaster recovery plans.
- Support and guide less experienced analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical/related discipline required , or equivalent work or education related experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working with business software applications.
- Experience working as a Systems Administrator , Business Analyst or similar for Encompass LOS , preferably with both Encompass Smart Client and Encompass Web platforms.
- Must hold a current Encompass Administrator Certification.
- Strong understanding of various project methodologies, including waterfall , agile, and Kanban, preferably through Azure DevOps (ADO) .
- Knowledge of SQL and/or various relational database concepts and languages.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify problems from a functional perspective, specifically when supporting end-user testing and training.
- Be available on an on-call basis to respond to pending issues or problems arising during non-business hours and provide support and response.
