About the role

Responsibilities
- Act as delegated Technical Authority for systems/functions within a design in line with Design Authority principles
- Manage stakeholders to ensure delivery of outputs meets project plans and contract quality standards
- Oversee technical risk management and resolve complex engineering issues
- Independently review technical development and assist in resolving design challenges
- Ensure designs and supplier equipment meet contractual requirements
Requirements
- Proven knowledge and experience in naval surface shipbuilding within your area of expertise
- Ability to manage international customers and adapt to cultural differences
- Willingness to travel internationally, including extended visits to customer sites
- Chartered Engineer status and an engineering degree (or equivalent academic standard)
- Association of Project Management (APM) Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent
- Must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
