Senior Network Engineer joining the Arizona Supreme Court's IT Infrastructure Team. Ensuring network availability and reliability while providing technical support for various network components.
Responsibilities
Perform complex technical and administrative functions to ensure the availability and reliability of the Arizona Supreme Court's statewide network
Provide technical support for all wireless infrastructure and connectivity across the Arizona Judicial Internet network
Serve as an escalation point for field engineers during both on-shift and off-shift installations
Configure Sophos and Cisco security and network equipment
Assist with cabling projects
Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams as needed.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Minimum of five years of experience in customer-focused network support
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is required
Extensive knowledge of IP subnetting, IP routing, VPN technologies, and Cisco networking equipment
Intermediate knowledge of routing protocols and network security principles
Experience supporting Sophos and Cisco Next-Generation Firewalls
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and newer operating systems, Wireshark, and other network-related diagnostic tools
Ability to work effectively in a high-change environment as part of a collaborative network team
Requires in-state travel with little notice, off-shift hours, and weekends at times.
