About the role
- Project Engineer for high voltage transformer systems working with Axpo on modernizing Switzerland's electrical grid. Tasks include project management and technical design of transformers and voltage components.
Responsibilities
- Technical project management of power transformers, reactors and their integration into the high-voltage grid
- Detailed engineering, specifications and procurement of power transformers and high-voltage components
- Responsible for the transformers and inductive high-voltage components specialist area
- Preparation of ESTI submissions including procedural support
- Monitoring and control of quality, schedules and costs
- Diagnostics and condition analyses for asset management
- Support of operational activities and commissioning of transformers
Requirements
- Degree from ETH / University of Applied Sciences / University (Electrical Engineering) or equivalent knowledge and skills
- Engineering/planning experience in high-voltage technology
- Several years of professional and industry experience in power transmission and distribution
- Knowledge of operational aspects of transformer operation and familiarity with legal regulations (ESTI & Swiss High-Voltage Ordinance)
- Systematic, methodical working style and aptitude for argumentation and presentation techniques
- Independent, goal-oriented, reliable and a team player
