Graduate Electrical Engineer assisting on major UK infrastructure projects with a focus on electrical systems. Contributing to health and safety compliance and project management under supervision of Section/Project Managers.
Responsibilities
Assist with day to day activities on a variety of major UK infrastructure projects
Contribute to the achievement of Health and Safety in accordance with company policy
Ensure quality on our projects is upheld
Focus on electrical systems including developing policies, standards, inspection procedures, and evaluation tools for M&E matters
Assist in the coordination of the team activities to ensure project completion within budget and on time
Work with the procurement team to ensure compliance with financial parameters
Ensure project compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements
Assist the Project Manager on management of the team, providing advice on appropriate resourcing levels, effective performance management, employee development and motivation
Adopt and promote Ferrovial Construction UK Vision and Values
Take ownership of the work assigned
Adhere to safe working practice regulations on site and ensure all staff comply with the requirement
Requirements
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels
Excellent written and oral English language
Degree or Masters in Engineering (All disciplines considered)
Motivated to learn and add value to the team, the role and the Graduate programme
