About the role
- Graduate Electrical Engineer assisting on major UK infrastructure projects with a focus on electrical systems. Contributing to health and safety compliance and project management under supervision of Section/Project Managers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day to day activities on a variety of major UK infrastructure projects
- Contribute to the achievement of Health and Safety in accordance with company policy
- Ensure quality on our projects is upheld
- Focus on electrical systems including developing policies, standards, inspection procedures, and evaluation tools for M&E matters
- Assist in the coordination of the team activities to ensure project completion within budget and on time
- Work with the procurement team to ensure compliance with financial parameters
- Ensure project compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements
- Assist the Project Manager on management of the team, providing advice on appropriate resourcing levels, effective performance management, employee development and motivation
- Adopt and promote Ferrovial Construction UK Vision and Values
- Take ownership of the work assigned
- Adhere to safe working practice regulations on site and ensure all staff comply with the requirement
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels
- Excellent written and oral English language
- Degree or Masters in Engineering (All disciplines considered)
