About the role
- Payroll Specialist responsible for payroll processing and employee inquiries regarding payroll and social security. Working in a growing company within a secure industry environment.
Responsibilities
- Independently carry out payroll processing for wages and salaries, including reporting and certification tasks
- Point of contact for employees, social security institutions and authorities on payroll tax and social security law matters
- Post-processing and reconciliation of monthly payroll
- Preparation, processing and distribution of various reports and analyses
- Active support and participation in specific HR matters and projects
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or an equivalent qualification
- Solid knowledge of payroll tax and social security law
- Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Ideally, experience with SAP or a common payroll system (e.g., DATEV)
- Independent and structured working style
- Fluent German
