Project Analyst responsible for managing strategic projects within Aviva's portfolio. Ensuring successful implementation and collaboration using PMBOK and Scrum methodologies.
Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring the development of Aviva’s Portfolio of Strategic Projects within the Corporate Roadmap, through full-scope breakdown, monitoring, formalizations, communication, reports, and other actions, based on a proprietary methodology (built on the best and most relevant practices from PMBOK® and Scrum adapted to Aviva), providing consultative support to project leadership with project management rituals and tools from project conception through closure. Work may be corporate (Rio Quente Resorts and Hot Park in Goiás, and Costa do Sauípe in Bahia) and also in new business, acting on strategic portfolios for Growth, Structuring, Operations, Backoffice, Sales/Commercial and Innovation.
Responsible for mapping and shaping project client expectations and for decomposing and tracking with the project streams all actions/tasks required to achieve the expected objectives, serving the involved areas (stakeholders), motivating and monitoring those responsible to ensure fulfillment of their commitments, thereby ensuring proper deployment of the Corporate Strategy.
Responsible for expanding and broadening Aviva’s Project Management System (Project Management Culture), ensuring methodology adoption, conducting training and developing tools and initiatives aimed at supporting and controlling corporate improvement.
Required to comply with all methodology defined by the area for the proper conduct of projects under their responsibility (full-scope decomposition, stakeholder registration, management of project tools, monitoring, formalizations, communication, reports, status presentations and surveys, among others).
Responsible for preparing and updating all project documentation and artifacts: Project Charters (TAP), scope, WBS (EAP), schedule, minutes, formalizations, presentations, Project Closure Documents (TEP), among others.
Provides methodological support, acting as a consultant to project leadership seeking assistance from the Corporate PMO, ensuring appropriate applicability of the project management practices established by Aviva.
Also responsible for promoting and conducting recurring management and monitoring rituals: kick-offs, control-point meetings, follow-ups and all other necessary agendas for project progress.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
Specialization/postgraduate studies in Project Management, Processes, Business or related areas.
Experience in leading/managing projects. Experience and knowledge in the Tourism segment (Hospitality, Entertainment and Timeshare) is a plus.
Knowledge of project management best practices, tools and techniques based on the PMBOK Guide.
Knowledge and application of agile project management models, particularly the Scrum framework.
Basic knowledge of BPM – Business Process Management.
Familiarity with concepts: Lean Six Sigma, PDCA, DMAIC, Kanban, Kaizen.
Advanced MS Office skills.
