About the role
- Fiscal Analyst in an innovative tech company focused on used car sales, ensuring tax compliance and regulatory understanding. Involves managing indirect taxes and obligations for various tax returns.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of indirect taxes: ISS, PIS, COFINS, ICMS and DIFAL, IBS and CBS
- Understand the tax burden level, know how to calculate/determine tax liabilities, understand basic credit concepts and relate them to the service provided
- Know the differences between taxation processes to ensure tax compliance
- Knowledge of ancillary obligations: SPED Fiscal (EFD ICMS/IPI), EFD Contributions, EFD Reinf and DCTF WEB
- Prepare, analyze and submit the fiscal obligations mentioned above
- Review tax scenarios according to NCM (product code), identifying applicable tax burdens
- Use CFOP to identify and understand the nature of the commercial transaction performed
- Calculate indirect taxes and file/submit the related ancillary obligations according to the fiscal calendar
Requirements
- Analytical ability and process management skills
- University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Law
- Analytical profile and problem-solving orientation
- Good written and verbal communication to interact with internal and external clients
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks
- Preferred: Specialization in Taxation/Tax Law (MBA, postgraduate)
- Knowledge of taxes on imported services and related tax routines
- Intermediate to advanced Excel
- Up to date with recent changes related to the Tax Reform
