- Lead and manage planning teams, providing coaching, direction and quality assurance
- Develop overall planning strategy for programmes
- Oversee development and maintenance of fully integrated project and programme schedules
- Provide authoritative schedule analysis for senior stakeholders
- Lead schedule‑related elements of performance measurement, including Earned Value Management
- Ensure effective baseline management and alignment with contractual requirements
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Drive continuous improvement across planning processes
- Oversee compliance with relevant contract requirements
- Support bid and work‑winning activities
Requirements
- Relevant years of planning experience
- Strong leadership experience, including managing planning teams
- Advanced proficiency in planning software, including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Asta Powerproject
- Deep understanding of schedule development, logic, critical path, constraints
- Proven experience leading schedule‑cost‑risk integration and performance measurement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Broad understanding of project controls disciplines and their interaction with planning
- Strong understanding of relevant contract forms (NEC, JCT, FIDIC)
