Payroll Specialist responsible for processing payrolls for multiple countries at ASSA ABLOY, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Process payroll for multiple countries as assigned in a timely and accurate manner
Manage international payroll data through various sources
Ensure all payroll data is in compliance with applicable regional and country specific payroll regulations and corporate policies
Audit changes that come from SuccessFactors HRIS each pay period to ensure payroll accuracy
Approve/reject payroll inputs in the payroll system each payroll run
Maintain supplemental payroll inputs such as wage garnishments, loans, or levies
Review and load timecard data from local time tracking systems into the payroll system
Ensure payroll results and general ledger reports are transmitted to Finance
Support reporting, tax filing, and vendor requests pertaining to each payroll run
Initiate the pay cycles and resolve pay generation issues
Perform payroll control reconciliations
Stay current on payroll practices and regulations for assigned countries
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Payroll, Accounting, HR, or Finance
A minimum of 2 years hands-on payroll tax reporting and compliance experience
At least +2 years of experience processing payroll for salaried and hourly employees
Expert knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS (i.e., Dayforce, Workday, SuccessFactors, Talent Works)
Requires 3+ years’ related experience in a professional role
Experience with cloud-based payroll systems, preferably working with outsourced services
