About the role
- Staff Accountant for a Private Equity backed Practice Group in Healthcare. Remote position with occasional in-office meetings required in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Responsibilities
- Accurately record financial transactions using appropriate codes
- Oversee reconciliation of banking and credit card activity
- Support accounts payable tasks and help coordinate vendor relations
- Enter daily revenue figures and manage accounts receivable duties
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities
- Post daily sales journal entries and manage A/R process
- Provide administrative assistance to the accounting department when necessary
- Assist team with complex balance sheet and bank reconciliation
- Assist team with other financial reporting packages and special projects
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree highly preferred, or in the process
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
- QuickBooks Online Experience highly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail
