Field Service Engineer responsible for servicing medical devices within healthcare settings in Ireland. Perform stock management and liaise with customers while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the servicing of Medical Devices within acute hospitals, long term nursing units as well as private customer homes and charitable organisations
Responsible for the management of stock, which can be delivered to home or collected at various designated points
Work with Overhead Hoists, Beds, Mattresses, Baths, Trolleys & Bed Pan Washers
Carry out service itinerary in accordance with Company and Service procedures
Ensure full conversance with products and compliance with Health and Safety requirements
Complete and submit all relevant documentation accurately and within agreed timescales
Inform staff of reason for visit and request permission before work
Ensure work area is clean and tidy after completion
Provide feedback and contribute ideas and observations for ongoing improvement
Maintain tools and equipment in a safe working condition
Liaise with Service Admin and Customer contacts to advise intended appointment times and duration of work
Requirements
City and Guild/NFQ Level 6 or higher or similar qualifications in mechanical/electrical engineering
