About the role
- System Engineer supporting the management of IT infrastructure and ensuring system availability at Jupiter Medical Center. Collaborating with various technical teams on critical IT initiatives and operational support.
Responsibilities
- Work with other Systems Engineers, Architects, and Field Engineering teams
- Contributing to the design, administration, maintenance, and management of core information technology resources and systems
- Participate as part of a tier III operational support structure
- Responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures governing backup and recovery
- Ensure maximum uptime and system availability
- Develop and adhere to operational and change management policies
- Participate in enterprise initiatives dependent on information technologies
- Active participant in an on-call rotation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience supporting the management of complex information technology components
- LAN/WAN environments including wireless topologies
- Network routing, network segmentation, and network protocols
- Server and storage virtualization
- End-user device management including desktop virtualization
- Security monitoring and mitigation
- Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring software
- Healthcare IT experience preferred
- Preferred vendor experience includes Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare, Citrix, Palo Alto, Rubrik, SolorWinds, KACE
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office
