About the role

• Senior SAP Project Manager leading procurement projects at apsolut, a consulting leader in Digital Procurement. Collaborating with clients to develop procurement strategies and manage project execution.

Responsibilities

• As a Senior SAP Project Manager – Procurement (m/f/d), based in Bielefeld, Leinfelden-Echterdingen (near Stuttgart), Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main or working from home, you will take on the following responsibilities:
• You collaborate with our client to develop the strategy and define the scope for mid-market SAP procurement projects.
• You manage the entire project lifecycle — from planning and conceptual design through testing and go-live.
• You advise and steer the client in designing and optimising processes.
• You lead the project team and are responsible for delivering the project effectively, on time and within budget.
• Expanding existing client relationships and establishing new ones complete your remit.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in project leadership on SAP projects with a procurement focus
• A clear understanding of cross-functional processes within the overall project
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, assertiveness and the ability to effectively facilitate decision-making processes
• Willingness to travel for client assignments, typically for two-day trips and mainly regionally
