About the role

  • Remote Engagement Pharmaceutical Sales Representative engaging healthcare professionals to promote client products. Building relationships, maximizing sales potential, and maintaining compliance in a remote working environment.

Responsibilities

  • engage health care professionals (HCPs) through virtual interactions to promote assigned client product(s)
  • maximize the product(s)’ selling potential
  • meet program and company objectives
  • develop and maintain relationships with HCPs
  • educate HCPs about product features, benefits, safety profiles, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use
  • maintain a competent level of product, program, and customer activity knowledge while adhering to compliance and ethical standards
  • manage daily sales call activity according to defined expectations
  • promote company product(s) via remote engagements (telephone or video/audio outbound calls)
  • profile and manage targeted lists of HCPs and provide value-added benefits to grow product volume
  • create and implement business plans to achieve territory and business sales goals
  • maintain call productivity and metrics required by the program
  • effectively and compliantly communicate with customers using selling, listening, and negotiation skills
  • maintain thorough knowledge of company product(s) and programming
  • verify and complete required data entry of call activity in Veeva
  • communicate with team members, client partners, and Amplity Project support teams as required
  • create and maintain a positive impression with the company and its customers
  • prepare reports for management as needed
  • fully comply with all laws, regulations, and Amplity and company health policies
  • participate in teleconferences, virtual meetings, and live (when required) national, regional, and district meetings and training sessions
  • represent the client at national and/or local conventions when applicable
  • travel, which could include vacant territory coverage, conventions, or national meetings, as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college required
  • B2B, field pharmaceutical sales, remote sales, or medical sales experience desired
  • Technical aptitude to navigate meeting platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and other remote engagement software
  • Willingness to work in all time zones if needed
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Clear, articulate, and professional phone manner
  • Strong focus on supporting customer needs
  • Effective rapport-building skills and active listening skills
  • Excellent selling, closing, persuasion, and presentation skills
  • Displays high levels of initiative, effort, and commitment to all aspects of the role
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology, including competitive information, virtually and in person
  • Self-motivated and disciplined to work independently and within a team
  • Good organizational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency and technical aptitude in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and digital meeting platforms
  • A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required
  • Must be able to successfully complete all required Amplity and client training and certification.
