About the role
- Qualified Mental Health Therapist at Amethyst Consulting & Treatment Solutions providing therapy and support to clients in their homes, community, or via telehealth. Supporting youth and families through compassionate, community-centered care.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you’ll support clients from the first point of contact, providing therapy, linking families to resources, and helping bridge gaps in care.
- You’ll work with individuals on the waitlist, offer clinical coverage across programs, and partner with community stakeholders to strengthen connections.
- Deliver therapy and support to clients on the waitlist; in their homes, in the community, or via telehealth
- Provide crisis intervention and clinical coverage when situations require it
- Connect clients and families with vital community resources and services
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and clinical supervisors to ensure smooth transitions and high-quality care
- Strengthening relationships with referral sources, community partners, and other stakeholders
- Lead or contribute to outreach, education, and marketing efforts that promote Amethyst’s programs
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
- At least one year of post-graduate counseling experience
- Bilingual/Spanish fluency is a PLUS

- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment, especially in high-pressure situations
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
