Analyst supporting financial advisors in servicing clients and improving workflow efficiency. Collaborating in financial planning, administrative tasks, and client marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
Assist Ameriprise financial advisors in servicing clients including preparing basic financial plans, conducting investment research and completing trades and transactions (Money movement, new account opening, etc.) as described by the advisor
Prepare and summarize client meetings by scheduling and confirming meetings, create the agenda and summary of meetings and provide necessary follow-up
Prepare and ensure new business paperwork successfully submitted which includes preparing forms, obtain appropriate signatures, prepare documentation to send to home office, track new insurance/ annuity applications and coordinate rollovers
Prepare for and coordinate marketing events which includes creating marketing compliance documentation
Provide general administrative duties such as answering the advisor's phone, process expense management reports, prepare routine client correspondence, set up of client files, copy and new business correspondence and alerts
Assist advisors in increasing their social media presence (Facebook & LinkedIn) with relevant and timely help clients in enrolling/ servicing on various Ameriprise tools
Requirements
Willingness to go for licensing certifications as needed (SERIES 7 and possibly also for State Securities, State IAR, State Insurance)
Willing to work evening hours: 8:00 pm to 4:30 am (9:30am to 6pm CST)
Graduate in finance discipline (0- 1year experience or 1year diploma is preferred)
Good communication skills
Basic understanding of MS power point, MS Excel and MS Word
Exposure to financial products like mutual funds, insurance, retirement services, etc. would be an added advantage
Must have an eye to detail with high accuracy levels
Ability to meet strict timelines per the agreed SLAs for advisor practices
