About the role
- Community Microlender providing character-based loans to entrepreneurs and consumers. Supporting access to capital and economic growth in local communities through microloans.
Responsibilities
- Originate, underwrite, and close microloans in a group setting
- Build relationships with clients, community partners, and referral networks
- Coordinate loan servicing, payments, and collections
- Track outcomes, document program impact, and support reporting requirements
- Promote additional lending products and provide technical assistance to clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a nonprofit or lending environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning CRM and cloud-based systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Independent, ethical, and committed to community impact
- Microfinance experience
- Bilingual Spanish/English
