About the role

Responsibilities
- Conducting sampling across various environmental media, e.g., water (groundwater, surface water, and drinking water) and solid samples of all kinds (e.g., waste, soil, recovered wood, and sediment samples)
- Acting as the on-site primary contact for our customers regarding sampling
- Maintenance and servicing of equipment and upkeep of the sampling vehicle
- Documenting results in accordance with quality standards
Requirements
- Scientific or technical training, e.g., as UTA (Environmental Protection Technical Assistant), CTA (Chemical Technical Assistant), laboratory technician, wastewater technician, operator in supply and disposal services, metalworker/locksmith (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
- Career changers (m/f/d) with technical aptitude and experience in technical tasks are also welcome
- Willingness to learn — we provide training to enable qualified performance of the various sampling procedures
- Enjoyment of varied field work (partly physically demanding and involving direct customer contact)
- Organized, reliable, and independent working style
- Driver's licence (Class B); ideally also BE or C1E
- Proficient with common IT systems
- Willingness to travel within the local area
