Responsibilities
- Uphold, communicate and facilitate understanding of the Configuration Management (CM) guidelines and tools
- Champion the Configuration Management policies by reaching out, informing, questioning and ensuring consistency across the business unit
- Record, control, maintain and monitor data and documents in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Utilize your advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills to edit document formats, tables, templates and figures to meet data control standards
- Learn and appreciate the importance of the tools, policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in ONE of the following: Configuration Management (CM), Technical Data management, Librarianship / Document Management
- Advanced user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook
- Previous experience of file / data management tools (MS Office, PDF editor, FTP, Nero, etc.)
- Previous experience of Product Lifecycle Management tools (Windchill, Teamcenter, Aras Minerva, etc.)
- Interested in bringing new ideas to improve current policies and procedures
- Passionate about assisting users and adjusting communication styles for different users
