About the role
- SAP eCommerce Developer designing and maintaining SAP ECC solutions for eCommerce capabilities. Collaborating with teams to enhance digital revenue growth through technical leadership and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP ECC-based solutions supporting eCommerce capabilities such as Cart, Checkout, Order Management, and Pricing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features that directly impact digital revenue growth.
- Develop and optimize SAP ABAP programs, function modules, and enhancements to support web-based transactions.
- Build and manage APIs for seamless data exchange between SAP and customer-facing platforms.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, compliance, performance, and accessibility.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development processes to support knowledge sharing and maintainability.
- Provide technical leadership in estimating, planning, and delivering high-quality solutions on time.
- Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in SAP development and integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA development, with strong expertise in ABAP programming and SAP integration technologies.
- Proven experience in eCommerce-related SAP modules such as SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and integration with web platforms.
- Proficiency in ABAP on ECC and S/4HANA, including enhancements, user exits, BAPIs, and BADIs.
- Experience with SAP BTP development is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of SAP architecture and core modules (OTC, R2R, Central Finance, etc.).
- Expertise in integration tools and platforms such as SAP PI/PO, BODS, SLT, AIF, and API frameworks (REST/SOAP).
- Familiarity with SAP Integration Solution Advisory Methodology (ISA-M).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in global, cross-functional teams.
