Power Field Service Engineer maintaining Aggreko’s power and temperature control fleet at customer sites in the UK. Provide expert servicing, maintenance, and support for diesel-driven generators and power products.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair Aggreko’s power and temperature control fleet
Deliver safe, reliable solutions at customer sites
Provide expert servicing and maintenance of diesel generators
Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns
Support with hands-on installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of diesel-driven generators and power products
Ensure safe, reliable, and high-quality delivery
Carry out low-voltage electrical work including switching, isolation, maintenance, and commissioning
Requirements
Technically confident engineer with strong capability in power generation (and ideally temperature control)
City & Guilds / ONC Level 3 qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering
Experienced with generator control systems such as Deep Sea, Dief and similar platforms
Strong mechanical and basic electrical fault-finding skills
Ability to fault-find and perform under pressure
Highly organised and professional
Excellent communication skills
Strong PC literacy (including MS Office)
Customer‑focused and resilient
Full clean driving licence
Willing to work out of hours and take part in an on‑call rota when required
