About the role

• Quality Control Manager overseeing quality control for a global client in creative production. Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers in Madrid or Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-production, on-site, and post-production quality control checks with suppliers
• Review artwork, print proofs, prototypes, and final outputs to ensure brand, print, and technical compliance
• Provide guidance and technical support to internal teams and clients
• Identify and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, specifications, and client expectations
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and identify training or process gaps
• Maintain accurate quality reports and audit records to ensure transparency and governance

Requirements

• Proven experience in print production, POSM, Quality Control, or supplier management
• Strong knowledge of print, finishing, colour proofing, pre-press, and production standards
• Experience working directly with suppliers, production houses, and creative/technical teams
• Understanding of quality assurance frameworks and production documentation standards
• Hands-on experience with QC tools, artwork platforms, or colour management software is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail, solutions-focused mindset, and ability to manage multiple quality checks
• Calm under pressure, proactive, collaborative, and accountable
• Must be based in-market with willingness to travel locally for on-site supplier inspections
