About the role

  • HRBP role leading talent development and organizational design at a caregiving platform. Seeking a strategic partner to support growth and culture in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key leaders and executives, providing coaching on organizational design, workforce planning, and complex employee relations.
  • Design and lead our initial talent development strategy. This includes creating manager training, performance management cycles, and career growth frameworks that align with Abby Care’s values.
  • Partner with leadership to pulse-check organizational health and implement initiatives that maintain our mission-driven culture during hypergrowth.
  • Help leaders structure their teams for scale, identifying talent gaps and ensuring we have the right people in the right roles to meet our ambitious goals.
  • Act as a lead for major organizational changes, ensuring clear communication and empathy are at the forefront of every transition.
  • Partner with Business Analytics to use data-driven insights to influence people's decisions and improve retention and performance.
  • Build the foundation for the PBP function at Abby Care.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive HR/People experience, with at least 4+ years in a Business Partner capacity supporting executives or senior leaders.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing talent development programs from scratch in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic Mindset: You can zoom out to think about the long-term health of the organization but are equally comfortable "rolling up your sleeves" to solve immediate tactical challenges.
  • Mission-Driven: You are deeply aligned with our mission to empower family caregivers and bring empathy to every interaction.
  • Operational Agility: You thrive in a "manual and messy" environment and enjoy the process of moving toward "structured and scalable."
  • Exceptional communication and coaching skills. You can deliver tough feedback with kindness and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly proficient in Slack and Google Workspace. You prefer agile, digital workflows over static files.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to work smarter and be a part of reimaging the role of the people business partner utilizing AI BP agents.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation packages that reflect the value you bring. We reward our team for the impact of their work – full-time employees are eligible for an annual company performance bonus.
  • Comprehensive health coverage that works for you. We cover 90% of your premiums and 70% for your dependents, with multiple PPO plan options to choose from for medical, vision, dental, life, and short-term disability.
  • Generous paid time off. We provide policies that allow you to recharge along with 10 paid company holidays.
  • Team bonding. We love bringing our teams together. As a full-time employee, you’ll get to connect, collaborate, and have fun through team activities and our annual company retreat.
  • Financial savings benefits to support your future. We support your financial well-being with HSA contributions, optional FSA and commuter benefits, and full coverage of all 401(k) account fees (employer match not currently offered).
  • Paid parental leave to support your growing family. We provide paid leave, so you can focus on bonding and adjusting to life as your family grows.
