Responsibilities
We are looking for a Team Manager (all genders) to lead and support multiple software development teams working on TeamViewer Frontline.
This role involves strategic oversight, people management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement across teams.
You will work closely with other R&D leaders and contribute to department-wide initiatives in an agile, modern environment.
Manage and mentor several agile software development teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategy.
Drive the execution of the product roadmap in collaboration with Product Management and other stakeholders.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Oversee team capacity planning, resource allocation, and hiring to support growth and delivery.
Promote agile principles and support teams in adopting best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
Facilitate cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
Support the professional development of team members through coaching, feedback, and career planning.
Act as a key liaison between engineering teams and senior management, translating technical progress into business-relevant updates.
Champion a culture of open communication, psychological safety, and accountability.
Requirements
A university or college degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a managerial role within software development, ideally in an agile environment.
7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a solid understanding of modern development practices and technologies.
Proven track record of leading multiple teams or a larger development organization.
Strong understanding of software architecture, scalable systems, and development lifecycle management.
Experience in strategic planning, team building, and performance management.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages such as German are a plus.
