Responsibilities
- Deliver complex systems engineering activities for the Australian Defence Force’s Ground Support Equipment program
- Develop, review, and apply engineering expertise across the full product lifecycle
- Establish system requirements and develop technical documentation
- Conduct tender evaluations and support safety and acquisition reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Detail focused and driven to deliver high customer satisfaction
- Understanding of systems engineering principles
- Experience in design lifecycle reviews including concept, detailed through to as-built designs
- Experience in participating and conducting qualitative risk assessments and HAZOPs
- Systems engineering experience with a background in defence capability
- Must be an Australian citizen with Baseline Clearance and ability to maintain security clearance
