Responsibilities

• Define technical standards, architectures, and best practices across multiple teams/squads.
• Serve as a technical reference, mentoring senior engineers and contributing to high-impact decisions.
• Ensure the long-term architectural vision and scalability of systems.
• Support the resolution of critical performance, security, and integration issues.
• Work across different domains (e.g., fees and people), influencing technical strategy.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Ability to lead technical teams and workstreams
• Experience with Java, working with versions 11+
• Java as the primary language and Spring as the framework
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, anti-patterns, SOLID principles, hexagonal architecture, and clean architecture
• Experience with distributed RESTful microservices
• Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, DB2, Oracle, Redis)
• CI/CD tools (CloudBees/Jenkins) and repositories (Git)
• Build tools (Maven, Gradle)
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology and Jira
• Clear and effective communication
