Responsibilities
- Act as a Lead in the "Move to Virtual" strategic initiative
- Coordinate with Analysis Engineers in the "Virtual Design Development and Validation" VDDV analysis
- Develop software applications using industry standard methodologies
- Update existing software and develop new software solutions
- Drive development activities and coach/mentor software developers
- Ensure code alignment with design patterns/frameworks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related areas
- 5+ years of experience in automotive engineering business applications & development
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software deployment
- Experience with Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and High Performance Compute (HPC)
- Experience with CAE Tools packaging and deployment automation
- Experience building and managing applications on Azure or other cloud environments.
- Excellent technical knowledge of Windows and/or Linux Operating Systems environments.
- Good understanding of agile software development best practices
- Basic Understanding of AI/ML implementations in automotive engineering business
