About the role
- Senior Revenue Analyst responsible for revenue reporting and forecasting at StarRez. Collaborating with multiple teams to enhance governance and reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation, tracking, and reporting of ARR, bookings, and other topline SaaS metrics on a monthly or more frequent basis.
- Apply judgment and analytical rigor to validate the accuracy of bookings and ARR reporting, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and revenue policies.
- Assist with the implementation and communication of reporting governance standards.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services to provide revenue reporting, BvA analysis, and scenario modeling.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to enhance reporting, forecasting accuracy, and efficiency.
- Provide recurring and ad-hoc analysis of revenue performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively across global departments to ensure accurate reporting and improve reporting processes, automation, and consistency.
- Assist in preparing monthly presentation materials for leadership, collaborating with Accounting and Business Intelligence to ensure organizational alignment.
- Support the VP of Finance and CFO with projects related to forecasting, reporting, and governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, revenue reporting, or FP&A at a SaaS software company.
- Strong skills in Excel and financial modeling.
- In-depth understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, retention, etc.).
- Experience with forecasting processes and variance analysis.
- Experience using Salesforce or another enterprise CRM platform.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
