About the role
- Tax Analyst ensuring compliance with Brazilian tax legislation for Grupo Tigre. Analyzing fiscal processes and supporting internal areas to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate calculation of indirect taxes, account reconciliation, and compliance with tax obligations.
- Correct application of current tax legislation.
- Analyze fiscal processes and provide support to internal areas, contributing to compliance, risk mitigation, and the company’s operational efficiency.
- Develop and improve workflows and procedures through critical analysis of existing processes.
- Perform calculation and reconciliation of indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS and withheld taxes).
- Prepare and file ancillary obligations (SPED Fiscal, EFD-Contribuições, GIA, DCTF) according to legal schedules.
- Control and recognize special tax credits.
- Provide internal technical guidance to business units and less experienced colleagues.
- Monitor and implement changes in tax legislation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Experience in calculating indirect taxes, reconciling tax accounts, supporting the preparation of ancillary obligations, and assisting with tax audits.
- Intermediate skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Knowledge of SAP and Tax On.
- Familiarity with the new Tax Reform.
