About the role
- Strategic Product Manager at Frontiers driving the core peer-review platform and collaborating with various teams. Leading product vision, roadmap execution, and improving the user experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for the Core team
- Act as the primary point of contact for the core peer-review workflows and platform improvement initiatives within Publishing Operations
- Work closely with the Research Integrity, Review Operations, and Production teams to deeply understand their processes, challenges, and needs
- Partner with Product Managers of the core publishing platform to ensure seamless integration and data flow between systems
- Translate operational requirements into clear user stories and collaborate with Salesforce admins, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions
- Coordinate product launch with our Publishing Operations counterpart ensuring effective delivery of your work without negatively impacting operations
- Monitor platform performance, gather user feedback, and continuously iterate to improve the user experience
- Ensure data integrity, automation quality, and platform stability
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, or Product Owner on software applications
- Strong stakeholder management skill and ability to federate through strong rationale and collaboration
- Demonstrated technical skills especially on workflows and architecture
- Strong analytical skills and prior experience in this area – demonstrated ability to drive insights from data
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with engineers, administrators, and end-users and lead discussion through critical thinking
- Solid communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Existing understanding of publishing workflows
- Experience in academic or scientific publishing operations
