Responsibilities
Support highly complex systems, including overall administration and security
Deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment
Review and improve network architecture
Lead enterprise firewall rule audits and incident response
Maintain and troubleshoot complex site-to-site VPN environments
Monitor and diagnose faults to provide complete resolution
Prepare and produce root cause analysis reports
Ensure that all relevant information related to Fortinet and network systems is collected and analyzed
Participate in support and on-call rotation
Ensure asset management and inventory are kept up to date
Requirements
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
3–5 years’ experience working as a network engineer in a similar role
Expert-level familiarity with FirePower and FortiGate firewalls
Strong troubleshooting experience of routers, switches, and firewalls
Strong understanding of VLANs, routing protocols, and spanning tree
Strong knowledge of IP protocols (IPv4, UDP, TCP, DNS, DHCP)
Familiarity with network monitoring applications
Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching
Experience with firewall migration, policy optimization, and redundancy design
Understanding of layer 2 switching including Spanning Tree, Port Channels, and VLAN trunking
Extensive experience in creating, re-routing, and maintaining VPN tunnels
Wireless experience required
Fortinet NSE4 or higher preferred; Cisco certification required.
